And then I found the Red Door..!


I was lost..lost in my thoughts… Reading soothes some of the troubling thoughts but not all.
I tried sleeping but this red door keep coming back, felt so real, had to paint it.

Only after I painted I looked up for it’s meaning & was pleasantly surprised.
The symbolism of a red door in colonial America was a safe haven. Travelers knew a red door on a home meant they would be welcome and find safety. On churches, red doors symbolize the protection of God. In Feng Shui a red front door means welcome. Front doors are painted red in Scotland to show the mortgage is paid off. In China a red door means welcome and is a symbolism of luck.
